Which HR laws are being removed under the EU law review?

The Government has released a list of approximately 800 laws it intends to remove under its review of all EU-derived laws, using the flexibility it now has since the UK left the EU. The list does not contain any employment laws of note which means that the general employment law position is expected to remain largely the same once the review has been completed. However, the Government has announced that it intends to make changes to existing employment laws. In November 2023, details were released on changes to rolled-up holiday pay, holiday accrual for irregular and part-year workers (to 12.07% of hours worked in a pay period), TUPE consultation for smaller businesses and non-compete clauses.
